Each couple’s journey is unique, yet so many walk through a similar journey when it comes to hiring a videographer for their wedding day. This journey is often marked by initial hesitancy followed by relief and eventual elation as the couple experiences the joy of relieving their wedding day.
“I hired a wedding videographer to be able to truly relive our day for years to come, and to have those special moments captured – both the ones we each saw and the ones we didn’t. A videographer is able to capture the true spirit, emotion and details of your day…and the love you exude that day.”
– Allison, K. LaFleur Films Bride
As client after client recounts this similar path, we have come to realize that there are several values that are unique to K. LaFleur Films that facilitate this experience.
We honor the uniqueness of every client through a personalized experience
To us, you are anything but one-size-fits-all. We believe that each client is a one-of-a-kind human being with unique fears and desires. In the end, there are a lot of people who can provide you with footage of your wedding day. However, not everyone can turn 8 hours of footage into a love story that perfectly captures the essence of each client.
“Kelly was able to gather who we are as a couple and that absolutely showed in our film. She captured our personalities, our relationship, and our family and friend dynamic so perfectly, it’s like she’s known us for years.” – Abby and Tyler
We earn the right to be trusted
Trust is built over time, but it can be broken in seconds. That’s why from our very first call, we’ll always do what we say we’re going to do – when we say we’re going to do it. And we’ll continue to long after the contract is signed. From quick response times to open communication and honest advice, we want to be your sounding board and a team you come to rely on for more than videography.
“We really felt like Kelly was with us each step of the way and we enjoyed each time we got to connect with her and discuss details of our day. She really got to know us, which was evident from our very first call with her…before we were even an official client.” – Allison & Zach
We are committed to being a professional presence
A number one concern that we hear from our couples when it comes to hiring a videographer is that they won’t be professional. Horror stories abound of videographers and photographers either missing or flat out ruining very special moments. As trained journalists, we know to give you personal space when you’re trying to remain present in a moment. Our objective, from the way we dress to the way we film, is to show respect for your traditions, spaces, and people.
We specialize in crafting a safe space
“Every video she produces is full of love and real emotion.” – Leah and Nate
On your wedding day, we don’t expect you and your fiance to suddenly turn into trained actors. Feeling comfortable on camera requires a videography team you feel comfortable with off-camera. That’s why we’ll take the time to get to know you. We’ll walk through the day and discuss any concerns. Our hope is that on your wedding day, we will just be a couple of friends, with cameras in hand, capturing authentic moments as they happen.
