We were so honored to create a wedding video capturing Kara and Conor’s wedding day. They got married in October 2023 at Chicago Athletic Association. Kara is the sister of one of our past grooms and Katie, our past bride, was Kara’s Matron of Honor. One would think they were true sisters raised together not sisters-in-law. It was truly special to witness the Austin family adding another loved member in Conor.

We absolutely loved the gorgeous simple column gown that Kara wore. She completed the look with light blue Badgley Mishka heels and a gorgeous cathedral length veil. The puff long sleeve on the dress was the perfect dress against all of Chicago’s historic architecture.

The day was intentional, meaningful and full of love! Kara and Conor saw each other at their first look in front of the iconic fireplace at the Chicago Athletic Association hotel. I loved Kara’s reaction to Conor’s white suit and how much they both bring out so much joy in each other (make sure to watch their wedding video above!). Their ceremony was officiated by Conor’s dad which added to the meaningful moments.

They chose to do portraits outside of the Lyric Opera House and along the LaSalle Bridge near River Roast. Multiple boat tours passing beneath us cheered loudly for the two of them!

Kara’s father, Katie and Conor’s Best Man toasted the two of them during the reception. They filled the toasts with admiration and compliments to both the couple and their families. We’re so glad they had wedding videography so they can listen to those touching toasts over and over again!
